I managed to get one HDMI camera into my HOST pc using an AverMedia video capture card.

I managed to get one HDMI camera into my HOST pc using an AverMedia video capture card.  If I want to pull in another HDMI video source, I'll have to do it via one of the USB 3 ports as the machine has only 1 expansion slot.  I still want to stick with the machine for its i7 8 core processor, 32 GB RAM and strong video card.  Reviews on the BlackMagic Design Intensity Shuttle for USB http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003WSQTWU/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2GI2495VE4FCV&coliid=I1O4KGGK5T7ASH
seem rife with USB compatibility issues.  I'm trying to decide between that, the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008YTAGGW/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2GI2495VE4FCV&coliid=I2PZ75PKIZJDLI

or the 42Kmi Game Grabber HD http://42kmi.com/store/42kmi-gamegrabber-hd#.U692dvldV8E
Has anyone in the community any experience bringing an HDMI video source into OBS via a USB capture device?
Any/all comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Users now must accept the YouTube live streaming terms before streaming using a YouTube API-integrated live encoding device

If a creator has not yet accepted YouTube's live streaming terms of service, or has not been enabled for the live streaming feature, the API's will return an error type of ERROR_FORBIDDEN with error detail of liveStreamingNotEnabled.

We wanted to make sure that you are well aware of this change as this may affect creators that are currently live streaming on the platform using API integrated devices, but who may have not gone through the YouTube user interface to accept the terms of service.

So, if you are experiencing an issue starting a live stream from a YouTube API integrated encoding device, please make sure that you have accepted the terms of service within your YouTube channel.

I am on a mission to reduce the number of computers needed to host live event's and stream them to the web. I'm also moving to replace USB webcams with HDMI video camcorders for 1080 P and optical zoom.
The tricky part is that I'd like to be able to send my Hangout guests to the in-room projector.  The projector would also have to be able to switch to the presentation laptop for the formal presentation.
My current live stream host computer has only 1 expansion slot available for an HDMI video capture card.  I'm taking a suggestion from Stephen Pritchard and looking to add an HDMI switch for local camera selection and feeding the switched source into the stream through the Host PC's video capture card.  I'll be using OBS.  I'll also consider outputting HDMI from the host machine back to the projector.  I think I can do all this with iogear's wireless 5x2 video switch. As a bonus, it will eliminate a lot of messy wires.  I'm just wondering how the video source switching will look when handled through such a switch?

Terry Leigh Britton does your video capture card fit in a half height slot?

Terry Leigh Britton does your video capture card fit in a half height slot? I just realized that the primary HOA computer I use for HTW has only 1 half height card slot.
I am not thrilled with my 1/2 height card Avermedia gamebroadcaster HD as it is completely distoting HDMI input when using it as a source camera within an HOA. It looks ok within OBS.
If your card can be inserted into a half sized slot i'd go with what you are using.
Thanks for any/all feedback.
