Hey I have this issue with the hauppauge hdpvr 2 with the obs multiplatform.  You can see at around 52 seconds the gameplay distorts heavily.

I know it is just the gameplay because the webcam and graphics remain intact. 

I can record from the hauppauge software fine and I can screen capture the hauppauge software fine but I can not directly connect it to obs multiplatform without this distortion. 

Any suggestions?

    I really don't know.  Any difference with Game capture, Window capture, or Monitor capture?  I play my games on the same computer that I am streaming on which for me is not so good on the CPU.

    If I game capture or window capture it works fine.  It only messes up when I add it as a capture device

    Was this in the preview as well?  If so it appears to be a problem decoding the HD-PVR's signal.  OBS has to decode its signal to play it back.  Get me a link to a log file from a session where it messes up (via the help menu)

    Not in the preview. Only once I began recording.  Next time I will save the log for you.
