I'm experiencing some issues with OBS 0.14.x running under Linux Mint 17.3 (64-bit) - my Logitech C170 webcam video freezes up and at best I get one still image capture. The same webcam works fine in V4L2 test, Cheese, VLC and Skype - but I can't use these as alternate capture methods because these apps also freeze up when OBS is started and revert to working when OBS is shut down.
The Logitech C170 video worked fine in 0.13.x, it's only since I upgraded that it's stopped working. Does anyone have any ideas as to
a) how to get the camera working again under 0.14.x, or
b) how I can revert back to 0.13.1 for Linux (I'm willing to give compiling form source a go if it's not too complicated).

Downloaded and fired up Studio 0.14.1 64 bit today for the first time.
Downloaded and fired up Studio 0.14.1 64 bit today for the first time. Was thrilled to see that my MP4 video files now run EACH TIME I select the scene wherin they are selected. Prior versions only fired them on the first instance. Subsequent "play" of a video source had to be jump started from within the scene by reselecting them. This is much better.
My practice of running embeded MP4 files is now better supported.
Kudos to Jim and the team.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with the new OBS Studio 0.13.1 and their video capture card?
Is anyone else experiencing issues with the new OBS Studio 0.13.1 and their video capture card?
My Avermedia C127 Extreme Cap HD failed to be recognized when I first started this version of OBS. After twiddling with it and checking to see if it still worked on the old version (it did), I managed to get the video signal to pass through OBS Studio (I'm using the 64 bit version.)
Later in the session the camera cut out again.
I just wondered if anyone else has experienced similar issues.
LOVE the studio mode for preview.

Hey I have this issue with the hauppauge hdpvr 2 with the obs multiplatform. You can see at around 52 seconds the gameplay distorts heavily.
I know it is just the gameplay because the webcam and graphics remain intact.
I can record from the hauppauge software fine and I can screen capture the hauppauge software fine but I can not directly connect it to obs multiplatform without this distortion.
Any suggestions?

Thank you for adding me to the OBS Community!
Thank you for adding me to the OBS Community!
I am still learning and working on my implementation. I was wondering if there is any documentation for building OBS Multi-Platform plugins? I assume they need to be written in C?

I've used OBS for only a few days now.
I've used OBS for only a few days now.
Regarding the OBS MultiPlatform version:
I see that I can Transform > "Stretch to screen" which stretches and can crop which is great to expand my game to 16:9.
Did they do away with the green lines for cropping? How can you crop your webcam if I can find a way to add it. haha
I can't seem to add a video capture device without OBS crashing on both versions.
This video was made the very first day I had OBS and before I learned how to crop but I am happy with the results:

We are trying to create a "cheat sheet" on how to use the new version(s) of OBS.
We are trying to create a "cheat sheet" on how to use the new version(s) of OBS. I've not found any list of features or even a glossary of terms used in the new menu structure. I'm hoping that by sharing the Google Docs document below and allowing comments and edits, we can crowd source some documentation. If you've learned something that isn't documented here please add it to the document. Commenting will allow for some discussion or challenges to assertions made.
