I see Wirecast has announced support for Facebook Live as a destination. I really hope OBS gets this soon. This has been a long time coming.

Dan McDermott so step one is getting your facebook account enabled for 'LiveStreaming, after that it will be a stream key, so in theory ANY service will connect (including OBS in custom settings?)...
ReplyDeleteAnyone can stream live now. It isn't just in the Mentions app anymore. iOS and Android.
ReplyDeleteDan McDermott i still have no android facebook live -- then again i never use facebook so my account gathers dut so def not on top list for facebook to enable live.. i do keep checking though ... i use OBS Classic and Sudio as my default screen rec for my videos now -- v useful ...
ReplyDeleteMike Downes . I didn't find it where everybody said it would be. I found it by starting a status update, and it was down on the bottom to the right. Little radiohead guy. It's supposed to be rolled out to everyone by now. Mind you I haven't USED it yet, but I did find it..
