I just started using it last night. We have been broadcasting our podcast for the last few years on YouTube using the Hangout Encoder. I've been converting the video file to an audio file to get our podcast in an audio format only.
This was my first go at using OBS and Restream period. It worked well for the most part. I was able to stream to Periscope, YouTube, and Facebook Live.
I do think I have some settings that need to be tweaked because at times the video looks a little choppy. I'm guessing this has something to do with the framerate. I'm not versed enough in the software or really the concepts to know exactly. I selected the 720 option on Youtube. I think I had least fluidity with the video on FB live. I'll post some screenshots.
