Hey guys, having a bit of a problem. When I finish recording my audio sounds hi pitched like Alvin the chipmunk and it's very skippy. I have been using OBS for a while and never had this problem. It randomly started doing it
Usually that is due to a sample rate change somewhere, probably on the Windows Audio control panel end. Check your Playback and Recording device settings to make sure they are all the same for the same device. What have you set the audio to in OBS? It should match on your playback device. Is it sounding this way to the audience in a stream? Or only when playing back recordings or monitoring?
Ah - then check the Windows Audio Control Panel Playback Device settings that they are set to only 44100 or 48000 and not higher. Same with Recording Device.

ReplyDeleteTerry Leigh Britton I'm just recording right now. I'm getting video and audio off a Logitech webcam.
