So, I am trying to setup my Behringer USB audio interface.
So, I am trying to setup my Behringer USB audio interface. I went into my audio preferences and selected what I THOUGHT is my audio board.(As you see in the picture) Well, doing a test recording, OBS crashed when I pressed stop. It would not open at all!!! I tried restarting and everything. I then realized that that setting must have been what crashed it. I turned it back to “Built-In Audio Analog Stereo” which automatically reverted to my webcam mic!
SO?! What actually is my audio board(Which works fine in Audacity BTW) and how can I get it to work in OBS?! I’m on Fedora 26 MATE Spin.
Thanks so much guys!!!

Go from the tape out on mixer to mic in on pc, grab it in OBS from mic in that way. Annoying that USB crashes it but this is an alternative.
ReplyDeleteChad Smith I hate to do that because USB gives better quality audio. But I guess that's what I'll have to do. Thank you for the help! So is that device shown actually my board than?
ReplyDeleteMicah, I used to use my Mackie mixer with the USB interface and it's identity in OBS looked similar to yours (Codec). Never had a problem.
ReplyDeleteI was going to suggest checking to see if Windows has current drivers for your device but it seems you are running a linux variant. If by chance you are running "on top" of windows, then do the driver update.
Good luck!
John Brown Thanks, nope, native Linux Install
